Just Give Up

These lines that separate 
A desperate cry for order 
In an unorderly world 
Their pleas sinking 
Down into nothingness 
The deafening silence 
Breaking the small shred 
Of what little sanity 
One may have to himself 
Wishes for things unthinkable 
For happiness and joy 
The one person 
You forever, your always 
But forever is a lie 
As is always 
In the end you're hurt 
And you've hurt many 
You have broken 
Torn, mangled, and destroyed 
Anyone that's ever met anything 
You have been stabbed 
Crushed, thrown, and demolished 
By everyone you've ever loved 
You will die alone 
Drowning in your own 
Pitiful sorrow 
And so shall I die 
In the same exact manner 
All the human race 
Is honestly capable of 
Is pain. 
Give up now 
There's nothing left for any of us 
Except for a dull, painful ending 
Brought on by our own selfishness and stupidity.
